Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MuslimCompanion mobile application ("the App"), published by MuslimCompanion. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Use of the App

The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use to help you track prayer times, read the Qur'an, and manage a Qur'an memorization schedule. You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App.

Account

Creating an account is optional. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

Subscriptions and Purchases

The App offers an optional paid upgrade ("Pro") that removes usage limits and ads. Purchases are processed through the app store you downloaded the App from — the Apple App Store or Google Play — and are subject to that store's own terms and refund policies. Subscription pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation are managed entirely through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Subscriptions automatically renew for the same duration and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Intellectual Property

The App's design, code, and branding are owned by MuslimCompanion and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Qur'an text, translations, and audio recitations included in the App are used under their respective licenses/attributions and remain the property of their original sources.

Disclaimer of Warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Prayer time calculations and Qibla direction are estimates based on your device's location and standard calculation methods; while we aim for accuracy, you should not rely on the App as the sole source for religious obligations where local mosque guidance is available.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MuslimCompanion is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France.
